WakaFinds helps travellers find places worth visiting across Nigeria, from restaurants and hotels to museums, parks and historic landmarks.
We built the platform around how people actually search: by place type, by state, and by what other travellers rate highly.
A discovery platform is only useful if people can find the right place quickly and trust what they read. That meant clear categories, a way to explore by location, and reviews from real travellers.
It also needed a way for the platform to grow: visitors can submit places they know about, which are reviewed before they appear.
Hotels, restaurants, museums, art galleries, malls, cinemas, parks, resorts, historic landmarks and event centres.
Find destinations state by state, with the number of places listed in each.
The highest-rated destinations are ranked so first-time visitors know where to start.
Travellers rate and review places, and recent reviews are surfaced on the home page.
Anyone can suggest a hidden gem. Submissions are reviewed within 48 hours before they go live.
