Overview

About Eyanga

Eyanga is a multi-vendor fashion marketplace that connects independent designers with shoppers. Fashion, crafts and handmade goods are sourced directly from vendors, with no middlemen in between.

The marketplace began on WordPress. As it grew, it needed infrastructure shaped around its own needs, so we rebuilt it as a custom platform.

Background

The scope

A marketplace has to work for three groups at once: shoppers who want to discover and buy with confidence, vendors who want a storefront of their own, and the team that vets sellers and keeps orders moving.

The rebuild covered the shopper experience, vendor shops, products and pricing, and fulfilment, on a platform designed around how Eyanga actually operates rather than around a general-purpose theme.
